I drove Katie out to Cumberland Elementary this morning so that Zoe and her could give a presentation to the kiddies about Model UN at Vanier. We met Zoe there and I drove them both to Vanier after their 30 minute presentation. Zoe has a class on genocides and Katie was thinking of going to it, but in the end they just socialized and roamed the halls till their next class.
Unfortunately Zoe had quite the cold so I was quite tired for the rest of the day. After popping a few pills, and having a couple of naps, I was good to go.
Katie got around to coloring her poster, and you can see it in image to the right.
My wife left for Duncan this evening. She will be coming back on Wednesday evening.
The teachers at Cumberland Elementary were not very prepared for Katie and Zoe today, so Katie is thinking of going back for another presentation to them on her flex day this week. Stay tuned…
Katie and I went to Panabo Pizza, but to their downtown Courtenay location this evening, to pick up two pizzas, the usual, one large Hawaiian, and one cheese. While we waited, we window shopped. We saw that there was a little “Walk of Fame” (kinda) on 5th Street of famous people from the area. Katie really liked “The Retro Room”, a store that specialized in vintage clothing, jewelry, and “stuff”.
Bobby is watching iCarly on tv these days. Around 9 pm he put himself to bed and Maple wandered upstairs to help.
