I took my wife and Bobby and his friend Zephyr to the Lewis pool this afternoon. The fear was that there would be no parking spaces on a busy Saturday afternoon, but that was not to be the problem. There were plenty of parking spaces, but perhaps the reason there were so many parking spaces was that the pool was not very warm. Maybe others realized that this would be the case? At any rate, we drove out to Zephyr’s place on Dove Creek Road and picked him up. The plan was that they would be there for hours, but in the end, after less than an hour they asked me to come and pick them up. Zephyr was going to stay the day at our house, and have a sleepover tonight.
After dropping them off at Lewis pool I drove to Shur-Kare to get some layer feed, shavings, and fly traps (see photo to the right). The lady said that they work great because they have fly pheromones and attract them like crazy! For some reason we have a fly infestation in the main house so my wife asked me to pick one up. I got two!
Katie was able to get the model UN email password issue sorted out, so I plan to register the domain, and work on the web hosting this evening. Jax simply removed the check on his phone, and we’re back in business!
I went to Tim Horton’s on Guthrie and gave Rod and the Filipino staff a bag of Filipino candies this afternoon! They loved them!
Bobby and Zephyr went to the trampoline this afternoon, but that didn’t last long… 🙂 Later in the day I heard them having a game of “Hide & Seek”.
Apparently Zephyr’s father works at “Community Support”. They certainly have a nice farm on Dove Creek Road.
On Monday I will be driving Katie to the mall at 1 pm on Monday. Katie is going to be hanging out with Elizabeth, an interact executive with her next year.
Katie never did get to go to the island this summer to see Vivian. Conflicting schedules, and Vivian is preparing to go off to University this year.
