Zephyr and Bobby slept in the same bed last night. The last time Zephyr slept over there was a mattress on the floor, but they both preferred the bed. Ditto last night. Zephyr has such a great time that he stayed till 4pm today, when he father stopped by to pick him up and drive him home.
Katie and her mother finally finished this little miniature model they have been working on (see photo to the right).
Almost as soon as Zephyr left Bobby got on his bike and rode to Huband to meet up with Bryston. Alas, Bryston was no longer there.
Katie and I registered CVEMUN.com (Comox Valley Schools Model United Nations) via NameCheap and purchased hosting from Hostgator for $1.99 for her model UN club at school. She will be running the club this year.
We had to wait for the nameservers to catch up with our mods, so Katie and I went for a drive. She ended up driving about 45 minutes on Dove Creek Road.
When Katie got back she started working on mock-up thumbnails for a potential YouTube channel with Bobby.
I went to Tim Horton’s on Guthrie this evening and Rod wrote “Gwapo” on my coffee cup… 🙂 It means “Handsome” in Tagalog. He was referring to me, but I ended up calling him “Gwapo Rod” as I left… 🙂
I’m gearing up for the trip to Victoria on Tuesday morning. On Tuesday evening I will get a chance to meet and hear Randy Bachman and Burton Cummings of The Guess Who fame!
