I’m having such problems sleeping due to my sore leg. Tylenol and Advil only seem to work so much, as does an ice pack. I have a hard time getting comfortable in bed due to my leg mobility issues, but eventually just fall asleep due to exhaustion, only to be waken up a few hours later due to the leg pain… It’s wearing me out. Our family doctor is on vacation so I’m going to have to suffer through this a bit longer…
I took Katie to school at 8:50 am this morning. I brought up the idea that she could meet individually with the other members of Model UN for lunch, which would not only give her the opportunity to meet a new friend, but solve her “who to sit with” issues as well. She didn’t think this was a good ideal as these girls already have their established friend groups.
Bobby is home sick today as well. I’m sure having to cater to Maple needing to go outside to pee or “whatever” doesn’t help.
My wife was home early this evening after her day trip to the conference in Duncan. My wife’s boss, and her boss’s boss were not there, so she was able to come home early.

My wife got to see the effects of an accident at GardenWorks, which is just down the street (see photo to the right). Apparently there was a “T-Bone” of one car into the other, but both drivers were alert afterward and no apparent life-threatening injuries. She spent the evening helping Katie with her math homework.
I think I will go to Urgent Care tomorrow to see what they think of my knee. Dr. Lawley will not be back till the 25th, and that might be too long to wait.
