I drove my mother-in-law and Katie to Trader Joe’s today to pick up some supplies. I gave Katie one of the sketching toys that they have at a basket near the entrance. She loved to “patch” on it, and when she asked daddy for his assistance I would “patch” a ball, balloon, and a house. Katie especially loved the juice display in the refrigeration area. The containers are so uniform and organized…
The lady who hands out “free food” at the Trader Joe’s counter said that Katie is gorgeous. I said that yes, and she is a handful too.
This afternoon I had to run some errands and I ended up at the Dollar Store. I picked up a huge orange crayon (see photo to the left) for her to keep her crayons in. It is supposed to be a piggy bank, but it will work for crayons as well.
I also picked up a plastic flute for Katie. I was thinking of getting one flute for my wife and I as well so that we could all play them together. I’m glad I didn’t…the quality is just not there…
