The photo to the left shows the top shelf at Katie’s school.
This morning my wife took our neighbor’s daughter, Helen, to school. Susan was busy and asked my wife to do this favor for her.
Tomorrow my wife and I are taking a vacation day and going out to Cary to see our “old house” one last time. We will be signing it over to its new owners next Friday, so we have some prep work to do. We will be leaving Katie with Emily early in the morning and spending most of the day in Cary.
So today I printed out all the papers that we will be leaving with our real estate agent in Cary. We will also be leaving our keys to the house and post office in one of the kitchen drawers.
After a night off last night we went for a walk this evening, or I should say that my wife and I did. Katie enjoyed the stroller. She was not fussy at all this evening. She was quiet on the way up and quiet on the way back. We usually have problems getting her past Helen’s house as she wants to stop and play with her.
This evening Katie came up to me and said that she couldn’t find her juice. I said why don’t you go to the cupboard in the kitchen and bring me one of the juice packs and I will put the straw into it for you. She brought back a whole pack of them…8 in all. I inserted a straw in one and she sipped away while I watched the news.
WHAT I LEARNED TODAY
