Day #3952 (Sat., Oct. 31, 2020) – Happy COVID-19 Halloween!
Happy Covid-19 Halloween everyone!
My wife took the cats to the vet for their shots this morning. When she got home we had a Chocolate Fondue Breakfast (see photo to the left). The chocolate was kind of sweet. I think it would have been better if we had used bittersweet chocolate.
We had to wait to have breakfast mind you… Bobby was up early again this morning so he had a little nap on the Lazy Boy. Once he got up we were able to start the festivities.
While we were munching on our chocolate fondue creations we played a game that Katie said was popular at school. You basically name an animal and the next animal has to start with the ending of the first animal. For example, if you choose “dog”, then the next animal would be “goat”. The next animal would be “turtle”… You get the idea. We got kind of crazy and elaborate with our animals. For example, I mentioned an “Eggplant Bird”.
We were planning on hiding some candy for the kids, but Katie basically said why bother. The only thing that mattered was eating the candy she said, so we just gave it to them.
This evening the kids enjoyed playing video games with Dylan and Carson (as opposed to going out Trick or Treating door-to-door).
