I went to Harris Teeter in Meadowmont this afternoon to pick up some supplies. I thought it would be quick, but I really enjoyed wandering the store and seeing what was available… It’s amazing how something as simple as wandering a store is a delight after so many months of COVID-19…
Of course the kids wanted ice cream, but I also got them each a glossed donut with sprinkles. Harris-Teeter has such big donuts for only $0.99 cents each. I also got a large jar of Nutella (the medium-sized jar I got a few days ago was such a hit with the kids).
While picking up ice cream I happened to notice some “doggy ice cream” (see photo to the right), which was on sale. We are making such good money for taking care of Ginger, I thought the dogs would like a treat. Both Maple and Ginger loved it! I thought that they would just gobble it up, but these each liked it slowly…
