Day #4642 (Wed., Sept. 21, 2022) – Meeting Katie’s Orchestra Teacher
I dropped Bobby off at Glenwood this morning. He told me that mom didn’t seem to understand that his head and stomach hurt… “Schoolitis” strikes again! He did tell me that his favorite class is PE. Yesterday they played with the parachute again!
Ali picked up Ethan and Bobby for lunch today and noticed that Bobby was not wearing his mask. Apparently he lost it during recess… Since the class after recess was lunch, and the halls were mostly abandoned during this time, we are not going to worry about him getting COVID. Finger’s crossed… 🙂
When we got home Bobby got into the Lego Lamborghini kit (see photo to the right). My wife ordered another one that we will give to Ari.
The swing seat broke today. Not the rope, but the seat that attaches to the rope. It’s possible to fix it, but my wife went ahead and ordered a new one.
The Feds raised their rates 0.75 percentage point today. Not the 1% that some had thought. My stocks actually went up a bit… Does this mean that my growth stocks are as low as they can go? I suspect not…but one can hope…
My wife is a parent representative at Phillips and went to a meeting this evening. She got to meet Katie’s teachers. She mentioned to her orchestra teacher that Katie missed the first part of last year, so this is why she is having problems reading musical notes. The orchestra teacher mentioned that she had improved incredibly.
