When I woke up this morning I had one of the best sleeps I have had in weeks. I slept so well that Katie had to wake me up at checkout time!
I do think this Doxycycline is doing the trick. I’m glad that I have enough to last till Sunday morning!
It was sunny this afternoon in Victoria, which was a nice change! On the drive to Langford, where our next night’s accommodation will be, I drove around Victoria harbor.
We ended up at Denny’s, where we had lunch! I had their “Lumberjack Grand Slam” breakfast with some coffee. Katie had their “Fried Sampler” and a fruit cup. She loved the grapes in the fruit cup!

We got stuck in some road construction on our way out, but eventually found our way. The new Langford Air B&B was not as nice as our accommodation in Victoria. For starters, you had to cross the living room to turn the light on! There was only one bathroom, no tv’s in the bedroom, and you could clearly hear the kid running upstairs!
Batman had his gallbladder surgery this afternoon and it went well. The surgeon had to cut open the bile duct and remove 6 stones! He’ll be resting today, but we can see him tomorrow!
This evening Katie and I played two games of “Scrabble” (see photo to the right), a board game that the owners left for us. Katie enjoyed eating peanut butter from a bowl.
We then retired to the living room to watch “Featureman” on YouTube and the famous videos where the two guys ridicule the grilled cheese sandwich he is making. We then watched a bit of Emma Chamberlain.
Bobby had his violin lesson tonight and after they got home he went outside to see the eclipse!
