Day #5582 – (Fri., Apr. 18, 2025) – Easter Supplies!
It’s Good Friday! No school for the kids today.
I took Katie around town this afternoon to pick up some Easter eggs and chocolates for the “Easter Egg Hunt” that Bobby will be partaking in on Sunday. Effectively Daddy/Daughter Chat #27. This years egg hunt will totally be on Katie’s shoulders. Daddy is just the “facilitator” to guide and run around and get supplies.
We did most of our shopping at Walmart (see photo to the right). We also ended up at Rocky Mountain Chocolate where Katie picked up a couple of chocolate Easter bunnies, one for her, one for Bobby, as an added treat.
Katie packaged up all the chocolates this evening. They are ready to put into place around the property for Bobby’s hunt on Sunday morning. While at Walmart we picked up some little plastic snack bags, so that made it all that much easier to include a chocolate or candy and throw it into an egg.
Bobby said that he wants this Easter Egg Hunt to be difficult, but no specifics on how to do that. Katie’s not going to make a map, but have a guide that says roughly how many eggs are in a certain location. She said that she plans to make it “REALLY FUNNY”…whatever that means.
Bobby spent most of the day playing with Ethan and his VR Headset.
