Day #5651 – (Thu., June 26, 2025) – Signing The Will!
My wife and I went to see Bobby get his award at the Huband assembly at 9 am this morning. Katie didn’t get to bed till late, and Batman wakes her up in the morning, so even though she doesn’t have classes anymore, she was too tired to come with us.
Bobby got an award today (see photo to the right) just as his teacher Mrs. Nelson said that he would.
This afternoon my wife and I went to the lawyer to update our will. We then went to the public library to return books, and to Courtenay Pharmacy to pick up prescriptions.
The last errand for today was to go to Waypoint Insurance to get insurance on the van. The Camry’s insurance is due in October and we talked about options to get insurance for Katie once she starts driving.
Low and behold, 108 Cedar Street is on the market again (see photo to the left)! They did a lot of work on it and it looks nice, they even kept our old piano, but it’s no longer home…
My wife sent the following email to the NIDES school counsellor today:
Katie has been having a wonderful time doing Career Life Education at NIDES. She enjoys both the subject matter and the pace she can work at. She would also like to take Psychology 11 and her counselor rightfully suggested waiting a bit to see how taking the first class would work for Katie. Katie is now confident that she can start taking Psychology 11, but we cannot figure out how to enroll.
This evening my wife applied for a hybrid job in Quebec. They want a SAS programmer with a statistics program but do require two days per week in the office. If she is the top candidate they will accommodate, it’s been done before…
