Bobby had a “Halloween Costume Parade” at Huband this morning. A lot of people had never heard of a plague doctor, let alone see one, so Bobby had to enlighten them. One of his friends said he looked like a crow or a raven, which is true…
It looked like it might rain this evening but fortunately the rain eased up by 6 pm, so no soaked revelers this year! We left our our treats at the end of our driveway and my wife and I took Bobby to the meeting spot in a nearby “rich” neighborhood so that they could all go trick or treating together. They worked up quite a sweat as they ran through most of it (see photo to the right). Bobby was raving about the fact that one of the houses gave the kids regular size Twix bars, not the snack size that you usually get during Halloween.
Katie went over to her friend Emma’s place this evening to go “Trick or Treating” and then have a sleepover. She dressed up as “Wednesday” (see photo to the right) and her friend Emma dressed up as a bunny. She had her own special bedroom and bed for the sleepover, which was nice.
Bobby had a nice long soak in the tub this evening and mentioned how tired he was. I bet all those kids will sleep well tonight after all that running!
