Bobby is home sick today but Katie went to school.
The covers for the Advent Calendars are printed now (see photo to the right). The next thing is for me to fill them with goodies…
Katie plans to get chicken noodle soup the next time we go shopping at the Superstore. Her French class is getting together a package of items to donate to families for Christmas this year.
I picked up a couple of prescriptions at Courtenay Pharmacy this afternoon. They have knocked down the wall next to their old location and now have twice the space. The business beside them was a computer solution company and they have moved across the street. The location they were at when we first came to Courtenay was taken over by Tim Hortons to build their new location on. They are almost done finishing this building and will be opening soon. The man at the counter in Courtenay Pharmacy told me that the old Tim Hortons building will be taken over by two fast food restaurants.
Katie didn’t have much homework tonight so she was super chill, which was nice. Bobby had just finished up a drawing class he is taking online. He is taking the same drawing class, with videos, that Katie took years ago and is super excited about it.
Between February and May of 2022 Katie’s math teacher at the time, Mr. Scheib, told Katie that she was very special and that everyone would be working for her one day. Katie has been mentioning it as of late… This comment doesn’t come up in the blog searches, but it’s probably in there somewhere, I just need to find it.
