Bobby is home sick today. Katie took a “Mental Health Day” and stayed home from school as well.
Remember how I shared that Bobby is taking drawing classes now? Well, he asked me to pick up a sketch book for him, so tonight Katie and I went looking for one. We found this one at Dollarama (see photo to the left) and took it back to Bobby who said it was perfect. Katie offered to create some Cricut stickers for him to decorate the front.
While at Dollarama Katie looked at the “Happy Birthday” cards. She is interested in having one for the scrapbook gift she will be giving Soulina. In the end she decided that she wanted to create her own.
We ended up at Tim Hortons on Guthrie. Katie wanted an ice cap and the issue of a donut came up as well. She really hated the donut she got last time as it had jam in the middle, so we asked the cashier what she had available. No strawberry iced donuts with sprinkles like Katie used to get at Dunkin Donuts in the US, but they did have a vanilla iced donut with sprinkles and Katie was all over that. I think she has found her favorite Tim Hortons donut now.
The pink luggage for Katie’s trip to Toronto arrived today!
