We ended up back at the Mayflower restaurant at noon today. Guess we really missed it. We sat next to the goldfish tank this time so that Katie could see them while she ate.
Next stop? Chuck E Cheeses’ of course. You can see Katie in one of the car rides in the photo to the right. One child was having a birthday party there so I inquired about the price. It is quite reasonable…7 children and 10 adults for $100 and Chuck E Cheese himself will come out and dance with your child and put a crown on their head. Food is not the healthiest but they do have an all-you-can-eat salad bar which is nice. Something to think about when Katie’s birthday rolls around next year.
This afternoon I went to see “The Amazing Spider-man” (2012) Movie in 3D at the Briar Creek Cinemas. It’s nice to have a child but sometimes you need a break and do the things that you used to do when you were single. It’s funny though…all the time I am at the movie I’m thinking how much I should be with the family. Comes with the territory I guess.
This evening I made a dish of ground turkey, red peppers, mushrooms, navy and kidney beans and shreaded cheese on a bed of lettuce. I thought Katie would like the ground turkey medallions I made but she really went for the white kidney beans. Go figure…
WHAT I LEARNED TODAY

1) Katie loves white kidney beans.
