When I woke up this morning Katie was having some cheerios when she cried out to my wife “Mom…can I have some milk for my cookies”. She is speaking in sentences all the time now.

Katie has really taken to her dolls as of late. In the photo to the right you can see two of them that she tucked into bed. My wife plans to fix a mattress for the wooden toy crib I built back in January when she gets time.

My wife took Katie to the park for a couple of hours today while I worked on the kitchen floors. All the big pieces are down now…I just have to do the edge pieces. Hope to be done by tomorrow. While I was laying the tiles I had a long chat with my mother. When my wife brought Katie back from the park we had a long Skype session as well.

This afternoon I went shopping. I returned the Lysol Mold And Mildew Remover I got at WalMart yesterday (my wife doesn’t like the harsh chemicals). I also picked up some cream of tartar and vegetable oil for the Play Doh recipe we got from Katie’s preschool. We’ll get Emily to make some for us if we don’t have time.

Katie has a new game…take the remote control from daddy. I notice more and more that if I don’t give her attentions she will get in my face and get it any way that she can.

WHAT I LEARNED TODAY
