Day #978 (Fri., Sept. 7, 2012) – Toy Giraffe
I went to WalMart at noon today to return a garden hose. While there I happened to come across a $1.00 toy giraffe. I had to buy it for Katie to add to her collection. You can see a photo of it to the right.
Katie just loves to come to the master bed and pretend that she is sleeping. I’ve taken to reading her stories in her bed, next to her crib, in the hopes that she will be more inclined to sleep there. The other day I climbed onto it and she said something to the effect of “get out of my bed”…so she does understand that it is hers. Now to get her to sleep in it…
When Katie is on the master bed she loves to jump up and down on it. What an energetic child. She climbed on top of my legs the other day and they have not been the same since…she hit the sweet spot. I’ve been hobbling around work trying to shake it off but it might just take time.
