Deer, deer, everywhere! Take a look at the photo to the left. This seems to be a regular occurrence at our house in the woods.
Today was Emily’s last day. She has taken a job that is closer to her career path. Though short she has been very helpful and helped restore our faith in babysitters.
My wife took Katie to the pediatrician today. She was such a good girl and didn’t even cry when the doctor gave her a shot. She did tell us later that “The doctor hurt me”. We had to explain that this was something she did for her good. When the doctor asked Katie to take a deep breath she cooperated in that fashion as well. Here are the stats: 35.6 lbs and 38″ tall.
We took Katie to the Focal Point Art Gallery this evening. Of course everyone loved her. Diny especially spent time with Katie. They even played “Ring Around The Rosie”. Diny asked us to send her about 10 photos of Katie from every angle. Wonder what’s up with that???
They had snack food out at the gallery and guess what Katie went for? “Goldfish”…those little cheddar crackers that come in a box. We never give them to her so I guess this was the “Forbidden Treat” that tasted so good.
