Day #1085 (Sun., Dec. 23, 2012) – Potty Training Day #2
Happy Festivus for the Rest Of Us!
Today is Day #6 of the days of Christmas. I had some whey brownie mix wrapped up but my wife already made brownies so we switched the gift of Day #7 with Day #6. Katie now has another package of balloons.
We are back to potty training Katie today. It’s going to make for an interesting Christmas time, but since it’s cold outside and we have time off from work it is a great time to get this done.
Katie is into the “Nutcracker Suite”. We recorded it on television a while back. She especially wants to see the “Rat King” as I have coined him…the leader of the rat army.
The “Sound of Music” movie was on television this evening so I made sure to record it. We already have a DVD but having it recorded on the television is so much more convenient.
End of day wrap-up: Katie has not had a mishap since about noon. In fact she went 7 times on the potty and the vast majority of those times she went and told either my wife or I that she needed to go. We made sure to praise her lavishly when she did a good job. She ate it up.
