A guy came this morning to fix the stove. He had to leave to get parts a few times. My wife had a dental appointment so I stuck around in case he had questions or problems.
I took Katie to the park near the Lewis Center at 11:50 am this morning. She was meeting her friends Zac and Zoey and planned to do some swimming. She took some of the McDonalds muffins that I got for free last night, asking Bobby what he wanted first of course.
I returned some Amazon packages at Staples, picked up Batman’s meds (see photo to the right), and got two bags of grower and two bags of layer chicken feed this afternoon.
After picking Katie up around 3pm, I went to the Superstore for groceries. Katie swam in the river and was wet so she was in no condition to go grocery shopping. I guess that the McDonalds muffins she took was a great hit! She was wondering if she should have brought food and the answer was “YES”!
My wife wanted me to get a taco kit and a Smores kit as well, but they didn’t seem to have them, or at least I couldn’t find them. I picked up some Empanadas, a rotisserie chicken, and two bags of potato chips to compensate. Oh, and also a HUGE watermelon!
The nurses still continued picketing the Vancouver hospital today. Two more hospitals in Vancouver are joining tomorrow. Campbell river is supposedly next, but they will give a few days notice.
