Day #1149 (Mon., Feb. 25, 2013) – Mushrooms & Coffee
Katie is into “Dora The Explorer” this evening. She didn’t even great me at the door and when I went up to her to say hello she said effectively “I’m watching Dora, don’t bother me”… Interesting child…
Katie is really into her Jungle Zoo Animals these days. You can see a photo of them to the left. She likes to assemble them on the kitchen floor for some reason. Maybe because she has the other floor areas of the house occupied with her other toys.
My wife went next door to walk Lucy’s dog. She didn’t want to take Katie in order to avoid all the hoopla that usually ensues. She wanted me to give Katie some of the casserole that she had made. Well, I took the casserole out to her and she dutifully said that she wanted “Mushrooms & Coffee”. Where does she come up with this stuff? When I didn’t give her coffee she went into a bit of a tantrum…but some warm milk seemed to do the trick…at least for a while. Soon she was crying out for ice cream.
