Day #1183 (Sun., Mar. 31, 2013) – Assembling The Garden
My wife purchased a cedar garden frame from Amazon a while back. This morning we assembled it in the living room. As the weather was fine we decided to take it out to its rightful place under the gazebo (see photo to the right). Katie played mostly but helped out a bit.
As it turns out the weed blocker mat that I purchased at Home Depot yesterday did not make it home. The only thing I can think of is that the guy put it behind the counter when he took it off the trolley and after scanning it forgot to put it back. I went to Home Depot this afternoon and they gave me another one.
We put down most of the garden this afternoon. We even put down most of the deer netting to keep the deer out of the flowers and plants. Once we get the rest of the compost that my wife ordered we will be able to finish off this project.
This evening we called up my mother to wish her a Happy Easter. I called her earlier in the day but she was waiting for my sister and brother-in-law to come for lunch. Katie wished her a Happy Easter…made her day.
