Day #1221 (Wed., May 8, 2013) – Plush Rabbit In The Bucket
I spent my lunchtime trying to find a “Lilly Of The Valley” for my wife as it is the flower of the month of May. Alas, nobody seemed to have any…but I did get some Daisies…the flower of the 5th Wedding Anniversary. I also picked up a large citronella candle for our patio…let’s see if this will keep the insects at bay.
Katie made a lot of interesting crafts in school today (see photo to the right).
This evening Katie and I made a birthday card for my wife. It was one way to get her mind of whining and being difficult. I drew a heart and she colored it orange. She also drew a picture of a giraffe. After signing it we were ready to give to my wife…tomorrow.
I put “Clifford The Big Red Dog” on television. Katie said “I used to watch Clifford when I was young just like you used to watch Spiderman”. Boy is she ever smart and perceptive.
More chasing with the “rabbit in the bucket” this evening. Katie is lightning fast. I would pretend to run away with it and drop it. She would pick it up and run in the other direction…cackling with excitement.
