Katie was still asleep when I got home from work. When she woke up she was crying…she had a nightmare. I guess the fireman would not let her see her mommy.
This evening Katie and I made good use out of the red play doh that my wife made last night. We made hats for all of her plastic animals and lined them up. She insisted on putting each animal, one at a time, on a stand made out of play doh. It was then my job to fashion a red play doh hat, put it on top of the animal, and then add it to the collection (see photo to the right). After I fashioned each and every hat she would comment on whether it was a beautiful hat or not.
I have a very sore knee that won’t heal. I think the problem started a few months ago when Katie was jumping on the bed. She accidentally fell on it and it has been sore ever since. It seems that as soon as it gets to a recovery stage it gets bumped or “whatever” and then it goes back to being sore again. Yesterday Katie accidentally hit it on the way to grabbing a juice pack. Today she accidentally hit it as she was climbing onto the bed. Poor ole’ dad will have to hobble around a bit longer I guess…
