The photo to the left shows some hearts that Katie is making as of late.
Nikki dropped a crying Katie off at the house this evening after a day of play. Why was she crying? Because it was raining and she wanted to go outside and hunt for centipedes. The way the forecast is shaping up it is going to be raining all weekend…so I hope she is not going to be too much to handle.
Later this evening Katie got her wish. My wife took her out to hunt for centipedes. Actually my wife just sat down and watched her do her thing. She eventually brought them into the house but my wife was having nothing to do with it. They stink.
My wife cooked a big pot of potatoes this evening. The pot was heavy so my chore was to take the pot full of potatoes off the stove and mash them down with a bit of salt, butter and milk. We now have enough mashed potatoes to settle my wife’s cravings for a while now.
Those cats are quite something. They are always circling around me in the kitchen in the evening looking for a fresh can of cat food. How can two animals who do nothing but lounge around the house all day have such an appetite?
