Day #1835 (Mon., Jan. 12, 2015) – 98%
My wife and I drove to Duke Hospital for an ultrasound appointment this morning and dropped Katie off at preschool on the way. My wife told me that Katie and her had a game every morning to count UPS trucks during the drive to preschool.
At the ultrasound we learned that little Bobby will be a big boy…98% of all the babies in their records. He already weighs in at 5lbs and there are two months left to go. After the ultrasound we had an appointment to see the doctor but stopped off at the Mediterranean Grill downstairs for lunch beforehand.
On the drive home we planned to go to Kohls to return some clothing and then to to Home Depot for some clear protective stain for Katie’s dresser drawers. Alas it was cold and rainy so we went right home and had a nap before Nikki dropped Katie off around 5pm.
This evening my wife gave Katie a Lego Princess (Repunzel) set. She promised her that she would get her one if she didn’t get any for her birthday last week. You can see a photo of it to the right.
I peeked in at Katie this evening and asked her why she wasn’t asleep. She told me that she couldn’t go to sleep until she finished teaching her stuffed animals about mushrooms.
