Day #1935 (Wed., Apr. 22, 2015) – Finding An Inch Worm
The photo to the right shows the “Scaredycrow Doll” Katie and I assembled last night.
On the way to preschool this morning Katie asked me what the stuffed animals we saw at the school yesterday did when they were alive. This led to a discussion about how they came to be that way. I told her that in many cases they just get old and die. She said “well you are old are you going to die soon”? I told her that this was not in my plans… 🙂
Had to wake Katie up this morning to take her to school. Nikki said that she fell asleep in the car when she picked her up at noon. She never does that…she was so tired.
This evening I was holding little Bobby and showing him the black/white cards we got for him. He liked them but nothing beats the picture of the lion on the wall. He gets really animated when he sees that lion.
As I was putting Katie to sleep this evening she found a little green inch worm on her bed. She picked it up and put it on her nightgown. This child sure loves animals.
