Day #2048 (Thu., Aug. 13, 2015) – Tag You’re It
My wife showed me a picture today (see photo to the right). She is amazed at how much her talent has blossomed. We’re not sure if it is due to all the art camps she has been attending or if she is just growing up…but her art is really coming along nicely.
Kirsten took Katie to the Science Museum in Durham this morning. Here’s the note she sent us “The museum was really fun this morning. We rode the train, saw the animals and played on the playground. The tree houses don’t open til Labor Day but they look fantastic and fun! Katie ate really well (hot dog with bun, corn, some french fries) and saved the banana pudding for camp snack. Again, I was super impressed with her kindness toward other kids :)”.
When I got home from work this evening Katie told me a sad fact. I guess that the one cow they had at the museum died. They sent it for an autopsy to determine why. Katie is such a sensitive child…leave it to her to mention it to us.
This evening I was playing with little Bobby and happened to touch him and say “Tag Your It”. He got a great kick out of this and hooted with laughter.
