Day #2580 (Thu., Jan. 26, 2017) – Two Huge Raccoons
I had an appointment with Dr. Overby at UNC Hillsborough this afternoon and I do indeed have a hernia. They happened to have a cancellation so I will be operated on tomorrow morning. My wife and I really liked the hospital. The staff is very happy and helpful and the setting is very relaxing. I will be coming here in a few short months for knee surgery. We each had a gyro for lunch at the cafeteria.
Everett came to install the new cat door today. This one has a special feature to keep raccoons out.
Katie lost another tooth this evening (see photo to the left).
This evening I heard a bang at the front door and happened to peek outside the window to see two HUGE racoons. No wonder the cats are afraid of them. No news yet on whether the cat door will be able to withstand the onslaught.
My wife told me that studies show that sensitive children benefit from both trampolines and jumping rope.
We have noticed that Bobby has a bigger vocabulary these days. All the work that Karen is putting in is paying off.
