We interviewed Kaylen this morning. Kaylen is Sarah’s best friend and will be picking up Katie after school this year. Sarah hopes to be going to law school at UNC. I made her a cup of coffee and Ginger accidentally spilled it on her.
Katie and I drew Gene from the Emoji Movie this morning. We didn’t have a really professional setup so we drew on a piece of paper on the floor in her room. I videoed it and plan to put it up on YouTube.
Katie and I had another Daddy/Daughter Day today. This was #59. I took her to see the movie “Despicable Me 3” (see photo to the left). She had the kids meal as usual. I also got a package of Twizzlers and some little Kit Kats. Instead of McDonald’s afterward, since Bobby was napping, she wanted to go home and play the veterinarian game that we made a few years ago.
My wife got a red torpedo for Bobby. It’s something that you retrieve when you are learning to dive but Bobby loves anything that looks like a spaceship.
