Bobby and I watched some “Try Not To Laugh” videos this morning. I thought he might want to go fishing but he said he was tired. Maple keeps waking him up and he needs to take him out in the middle of the night. I’m sure that what that old man said yesterday, how you had to leave the hook in the water for about 30 minutes didn’t help.
I was thinking of taking Bobby to see the new movie “Odyssey” at Landmark this afternoon, but almost every seat was taken! Even though it has been getting mixed reviews, it looks like it hasn’t affected people’s desire to see the movie.
Bobby says that the rooster keeps bothering him. We looked up potential solutions on YouTube and one guy said that a spray bottle of 1/3 vinegar and 2/3 water solved his rooster problem.
This evening Bobby wanted to go to Triple O’s for a milkshake. He wanted a strawberry one till he saw the Smores one advertised on the menu. At home I heated up some of the KFC fries we got yesterday in the air fryer. Bobby liked them, but said he wished they were less crispy. I put them in for 5 minutes and 350 degrees, so let’s try 3 minutes next time.
Over in Vancouver Katie and her mom went to the UBC bookstore and picked up some stickers and “thingies”. They had some drinks at Starbucks. Next up was some more campus exploring and the UBC Sauder building and school of business and an Uber ride to Stanley Park. At Stanley Park they had a horse drawn carriage ride by a woman from Lithuania.
This evening my wife and Katie were planning on going to the aquarium but they were a bit too late for the last entry. They ended up taking an Uber to the Bloedel Conservatory.
Back on “The Island” Bobby was very tired so he went to bed early.
