This afternoon I drove Katie over to Soulina’s house to pick her up and then take the two of them over to KJ’s how. Katie took a lot of art supplies (see photo to the right) so they are planning on doing crafting. Soulina has a gate on the property now so we had to text her and wait for her to arrive. Both girls sat in the back at my suggestion and I chauffeured them around. KJ lives near the Beaver Convenience Store, the one where I took Bobby a few weeks ago to get that posable action figure he wanted.
After dropping Katie off I went to Tim Horton’s at the corner of Ryan and Lerwick to wait for her text. About two hours later she texted me to pick her up at 5 pm. Soulina was staying the night for a sleepover, but Katie didn’t want to.
One of the positive outcomes for Katie today is that now she has a person to sit at lunch with. KJ was looking for someone to sit with so they plan to sit together for lunch during this upcoming school year.
We have plenty of ice cream now given that Real Canadian Superstore haul Katie and I picked up last night. Bobby spent most of the day on the computer playing with Ethan and didn’t venture out to the chicken coop to get some blackberries for the “Blackberry Milkshake” I suggested. Maybe tomorrow.
This evening I purchased 3 tickets for the 12:15 pm showing of “Odyssey” tomorrow afternoon. The website was down for most of the evening so I’m glad it came up later tonight so we can plan ahead and go see the show tomorrow.
