Day #3390 (Thu., Apr. 18, 2019) – Dollar Tree Toy & A Happy Meal
Bobby was up in the middle of the night. He didn’t get up til late, about 8:50 am this morning. He had a bad cough and his nose was running a bit, so I decided to take it easy with him today.
Thursday is story time at Flyleaf books and Bobby pretty well told me that he didn’t want any of that. I decided that I would have a 2nd Daddy/Son Day this month, and take him to the Dollar Store and then McDonalds for a Happy Meal. He loves this combo.
At the Dollar Store he picked out a little Lego (compatible) police ATV that you can build (see photo to the left). We built it at McDonalds while he munched away on his Chicken McNuggets and fries. The Happy Meal toy was a little plush “hamster” sort of thing. Bobby wasn’t into it much, but I’m sure that Katie would love it.
When we got home Bobby was no problem putting to bed. The problem was, after about 45 minutes of playing he said he wanted to go to the living room to play some more. Well, it looks like our little boy is done napping?
Arnesa is in Mexico with the kids this week.
Katie is very upset that Lucy’s funeral is at the same time as her dance recital. Not sure how we are going to juggle those just yet.
