Day #3509 (Thu., Aug. 15, 2019) – Insect Bite On Foot?
I got into one of the Magic School Bus kits (see photo to the right) that we used to get for Katie. I thought Bobby might enjoy it…but it’s a bit too old for him… One day…
My wife has a sore foot so she took today off of work. She went to see the doctor later in the day. As it turns out, she might have gotten a bite from an insect that put her venom inside her foot. She will be picking up her x-rays tomorrow so we will learn more. We need to get this resolved before Disney World next week as there will be a lot of walking.
Bobby… How to deal with Bobby… My wife has been doing some investigating and apparently the risk/reward type of scenario does not work with strong-willed children as they view it as a challenge and a threat. Apparently you need to say that you hear them and help them deal with their emotions. We’ve got to read up on this more to see how to implement it.
One of the main things on the agenda is dealing with Bobby and sticks. He is dangerous with sticks and actually hit Katie this evening. He will also throw things. That needs to be dealt with as well.
