Day #3513 (Mon., Aug. 19, 2019) – No More “Kipper Snacks”
The photo to the left shows Bobby’s “snail house” that he made yesterday.
Alma came over to play with Katie this morning. Bobby is in toe…much to their frustration.
Katie came over in the PM to talk about CarolinaAcorn and share the intro videos that she made.
I went to the Dollar Store this evening to pick up some snacks for the kids. I got some Swedish Fish, and Dum Dum pops, but also a bag of cotton candy. I gave them the cotton candy when I got home and they devoured the whole bag.
I also stopped off at Trader Joe’s to get some more food supplies for our trip to Orlando. My wife wanted me to pick up some white bread as she is planning on making peanut butter sandwiches. I also got some green bananas, which should rippen in our rooms. I got some granola as well, which I thought would give a “nutty” taste to our oatmeal and powdered milk combo in the morning. Unfortunately they don’t seem to have any more of those “kipper snacks” herring in a can.
My wife is studying for her first Chinese class tomorrow. As she works at UNC she will be able to take it for free.
