Katie had a Rotary/Interact fund raising event today at Hundai. They washed cars! Apparently the cash box was overflowing so they got quite a bit of money out of the deal. Amy mentioned that her husband participates in the Rotary here in Courtenay, I wonder if he showed up? I was teasing Katie that it’s too bad I didn’t have my 1995 Toyota Dark Green Camry that we left in Chapel Hill! I could come up and impress everyone at the car wash with it and briefly mention that Katie was my daughter. She would be so impressed… 🙂
My wife took the drawer out of her desk so that her knees can now fit under the table. Bobby said that he wants the same done on his computer desk.
Esca came over to play with Bobby today. They spent some time on the trampoline and watched the movie “The Lorax” on the big tv in the family room.
There was an assassination attempt on President Trump at the White House Correspondents Dinner this evening. The event was cancelled and he had a news conference afterward.
