Day #5958 – (Wed., Apr. 29, 2026) – Hidden Bunny!

Can you spot the bunny in the photo to the left? Directly to the left of the dragonfly sculpture, just below the large rock!

This afternoon Katie and I stopped by “Archie’s Entertainment”, near the Walmart. They will be open this Friday! An arcade place…something that the Comox Valley has needed for a while. There is no place other than McDonalds for them to hang out!

The kids went to group viola/violin class this evening!

Bobby has started to watch the “Enola Holmes” series on Netflix. What’s it about? Enola Holmes is a light, fast-paced mystery-adventure that reimagines the world of Sherlock Holmes through the eyes of his younger sister, Enola. Played by Millie Bobby Brown, Enola is clever and observant like Sherlock but far more emotional, intuitive, and rebellious, often breaking the fourth wall to speak directly to the audience, which gives the film a playful, modern tone. The story begins when her mother disappears, prompting Enola to escape her controlling brother Mycroft and head to London, where she follows clues, uses disguises, and becomes entangled in a broader mystery. Unlike traditional Sherlock stories that lean heavily on logic and darker themes, this film focuses more on instinct, character, and personal growth, making it an easy, entertaining watch with a strong message about independence and becoming who you are rather than fitting into expectations.
