Bobby drove his electric bike to school at the regular time slot this morning. I drove Katie to Vanier at 12:15 pm and picked her up at 3:10 pm.
Today is Track & Field Day at Huband. Actually, it was held in the field next to Vanier High School. Bobby said that he participated in long jump, shot put, and track. He didn’t do the high jump.
After picking Katie up at school we went for a quick drive. We stopped off at McDonalds where she picked up some chicken nuggets and I got a black coffee.
The kids played a “bit of pool” this evening (see photo to the right).
I had Bobby check his “regular” bike this evening to make sure that it was “good to go” for tomorrow’s bike ride at Huband. Alas, the tire was flat, even though I inflated it yesterday. Perhaps a slow leak. At any rate, Bobby was elated as the bikes that they have at Huband are much better. Bobby was saying how the handlebars are too low for him. I’m thinking of getting him handlebars that rise up, but he doesn’t use this bike now anyway. Oh, the students are not allowed to use electric bikes on their bike ride tomorrow.
