This morning I sent Katie the link to a YouTube video on how a lady has created out of business by sending letters via snail mail! She didn’t have a target audience when she started, but came up with the idea solely upon how much she would love to receive a letter in the mail. In this fast paced world of the internet and YouTube, it’s kinda hard to remember what it was like back in those days. Katie is very artistic, so she could include her art and/or stickers, and even create this idea around the adhd/autistic community if she wants. Just yet one more business idea to go into the jar… 🙂
I gave a bag of Filipino “White Rabbit” candies to Marvie, one of the managers of McDonalds this afternoon and asked him if he could share them with his crew. He agreed, and gave me one out of the bag to try. They were delish! Kinda like a vanilla toffee! Glenda, the lady at Good’s Groceries told me that she used to buy them as a school girl in the Philippines and that the crew there would love them. Oh, by the way, when I went back to McDonalds this evening Marvie was still there. They were closing and he gave me three strawberry pies to give to the kids (see photo to the left). I didn’t plan on getting anything in return, but I suppose you could say that I earned my money back from these treats… 🙂
There are no viola/violin lessons today, or tomorrow either. Katie does have an orthodontics appointment in the morning that I will be taking her to.
I was planning on doing some mowing today, but never got around to it. I mentioned it to Katie and Bobby and they were not in the mood for it anyway.
