I gave Bobby the Popeye Candy Sticks this afternoon and asked him to share them with his sister.
I picked up a bag of layer feed at Shur-Kare. No sign of the black cat with the smoker’s meow.
Katie got her DNA testing kit in the mail.
Bobby was picked up by Zephyr’s grandmother this afternoon. She took the boys swimming at the local pool.
I mowed the section of the paddock that comes next to the barn this afternoon. I told Katie and Bobby that they could “feel free” to finish the paddock mowing off. Katie replied that Bobby helped her clean the bathroom today (see photo to the right).
I’m thinking of the idea of a “Laser Engraver Comox Valley Christmas Ornament”, an idea that I initially had when we were back in Chapel Hill. Do I need yet another project to do???

Katie is really looking forward to seeing you! She has started learning to drive, and her anxiety is not helping… I would also like to come with her one day to talk about ADHD medications and other things.
On a different note, Katie was just approved for the tail end of her Autism Funding, which runs until March 31, 2027. It looks like counselling is included among the services that can be covered, so we would love to use some of the funding for that!
I’m not sure if you have ever dealt with the system, but my understanding is that once I submit the attached form and get approval, you would submit a monthly invoice and be paid directly. I’ve also attached a sample invoice. Would you be comfortable with that process?
The $4,050 I put on the form can be changed later if needed. Katie gets pretty stressed when counselling starts to feel like yet another chore, so we would still like to keep the schedule flexible for her. 🙂
