The kid’s had their viola/violin lessons with Daisy this afternoon. I picked them up at the main house at 3:15 pm and we arrived at 3:40 pm, 5 minutes before the scheduled lessons. Such is the wonder of this place, no traffic today, but sometimes it’s so bad we are at the risk of being late.
Katie took some flowers and a card to Daisy today (see photo to the right) as her birthday was a few days ago. Daisy was shocked, and overjoyed. She told Katie that she would have to read the card later as she didn’t want to cry.
Katie wants me to help her with the creation of a website for CVEMUN (the elementary model UN). Rather than just go ahead and build it for her, I think I will walk her through the whole process so that she knows how, and will be able to put this on her resume. The first step is get a domain name, which we talked about on the ride home from Daisy’s place today. There are throwaway options, and cheaper domains, such as .shop and .online, but if you want the most recognized domain extension, and want this website to be the most accepted, then .com is the best. I see that CVEMUN.com is available… 🙂 First step is to get a domain name via NameCheap.com, and then we can talk about hosting and WordPress setup and the like.
We’re having problems getting in touch with Amy via email to discuss Katie and her meds. I gave my wife her phone number so she plans to text her and see if that will work better.
Katie braided her hair this evening. She has never been able to do one single braid before. She’s basically a “Uni Student” now… 🙂
