Day #5621 – (Tue., May 27, 2025) – Prendergrast Road
Both kids are home from today. Bobby is sick and my wife let Katie stay home as she has completed all her schoolwork.
I just love this picture of Barney the cat with the metal dragonfly sculpture on the other end (see photo to the right)
My wife gave Bobby a Lego set this afternoon and he was so happy putting it together he was singing!
Later today my wife and Katie took Maple on a walk on the trail behind our house. trail with Maple. Bobby stayed home.
This evening Katie and I went out for Daddy/Daughter Chat #32 this evening. We ended up on Dove Creek Road, and extended to a “No Exit” road called “Prendergrast”. I think we passed the farm on Burns Road that we were thinking of buying before we came to Courtenay. Katie and I love this road so much as there are lots of horse farms!
I did a bit of investigation this evening and North Island College will accept kids under 18 years old, but with “special admission”. Good to know if Katie chooses to go there…
