After dropping Bobby off at Huband I swung around Black’s Cycle to pick up his eBike as they fixed the tire. I then went home and picked up Katie and drove her to Vanier.
Katie got 98% on her math test, the one that she fretted over and worked all weekend to prepare for. She’s a “bit upset” as she got 99% last time… 🙂
After dropping Katie off at Vanier I went to Shur-Kare to get some “layer” feed for the chickens. Their black cat with a “smoker’s meow” greeted me at the door (see photo to the left).
About an hour or so later my wife got a message from Bobby, his ankle was bothering him and he wanted to come home, so I drove to Huband and picked him up. At 3:10 pm I also went to Vanier to pick Katie up.
The kids had “group class” tonight, the first time that they have attended in a while. Katie’s back is bothering her and Bobby “begrudgingly” went due to his sore ankle.
I went bike shopping for Bobby this evening and ended up at Canadian Tire. They have a 26″ mountain bike with suspension on the front and back (which they call “double suspension”) that I think he will love. I drove home to tell him about it before he went to bed so that he won’t be able to sleep… 🙂 Second only to Christmas morning getting a new bike is. He’s super excited! I plan to take him over after school tomorrow so he can ride it and check it out.
