Day #707 (Sun., Dec 11, 2011) – Katie The Night Owl
I slept in this morning…I guess all that running around after Katie last night did me in. She didn’t stop running around the house we were in for about 3 hours…
My wife took Katie out for a stroll this morning and when she didn’t let Katie go near the nearby daycare (they are repairing the roof) she had a bit of a crying session. My wife promptly brought her back home. A little bit of “Little Bear” in mom and dad’s bed and her troubles were soon behind her.
This has been a busy weekend so we didn’t get a chance to do a Skype Session with my mother til tonight. Katie was busily bringing things to daddy from the living room so she could only get glimpses of Katie coming and going. Once I put some “Little Bear” on Katie calmed down a bit.
Look at that photo to the right. Katie has quite the “collection” of teeth these days…
Katie the Night Owl…she is not interested in going to bed this evening. She is yawning and indicating that she is tired but when we try to put her to bed she cries and cries til we go and get her. I found a special treat that she really likes…homemade quesadilla’s on the grill. It seems if you call anything “pizza” she will be interested in it.
It is approaching midnight and Katie is still up… My wife has a 9:30am conference call tomorrow morning so I let her go to bed so I could tend to our little night owl. A bit more quesadilla and some warm milk, talk of Santa and a book in the crib and soon she was “ZZZZzzzz….”.
