Day #874 (Sat., May 26, 2012) – Standing On The Little Plastic Pig
When Katie got up this morning she brought her farm animals to the living room from the crib. As she was watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse she was standing on the little plastic pig. Soon she was telling mommy that her foot hurt…wonder why?
My wife took Katie to the park this morning so I could work on the floor. Flattened the area under the fridge and put down some primer so that the tiles will stick to it (see photo to the right). I accidentally broke the piping for the fridge ice maker so I had to go to Lowe’s and get another one (got a stainless steel version). I had some free time so I put safety latches on quite a few more kitchen drawers.
This afternoon my wife was tired so I tended to Katie. We ended up on the patio playing in the green turtle sandbox (which was filled with warm water for today’s festivities). Katie sure loves her water. I used some sidewalk chalk to write our names in the benches that align our patio. Katie then added her mark.
You know, I think the sweetest sound to my ears these days are when my wife says “I think she will be going to bed soon” (referring to Katie).
