Day #1167 (Fri., Mar. 15, 2013) – Solar Powered Bunny
I would really like to find a “Jungle Animals Game”…or something similar. Something that Katie will like but something that will be educational as well. I did quite a bit of research but nothing is really available…at least for her age group.
This evening I gave Katie another “Special Present” I picked up from the Dollar Store the other day. It was a little plastic bunny that would jiggle when placed under the sun (see photo to the left). In other words, it was “solar powered”. Katie played with it for a bit but as it didn’t jiggle enough (no direct intense sunlight), she soon lost interest.
This cold has really taken a hold on me. Katie still wants to play Jungle Animals in the evening but I just don’t have the energy. She will complain at first, but eventually she understands that daddy needs to rest. She is good after that point.
