Day #1617 (Sun., June 8, 2014) – Daddy/Daughter Day #14
For today’s Daddy/Daughter day I drove Katie out to Cary today to see some of the old sites. She wanted to go on a carousel so that was the reason for our journey to Katie’s old stomping grounds.
We started off by visiting the “Dragon Park”. Katie didn’t remember being here before…I guess it was before she turned two years old. She enjoyed playing on a couch ride that they attached to the end of one of the fort areas.
Next stop was Cary Mall where Katie had some pink lemonade and some potato chips. I had a Subway turkey avocado sandwich as well but she was having none of that.
We rode on the mall train and the carousel (she wanted to ride with me on the couch instead of the horse for some reason). We then got some goodies and a tiny elephant out of the mall vending machines (see photo to the left).
On the way home we stopped off at Michael’s where Katie picked up a Doc McStuffin sticker book.
