Day #2446 (Wed., Sept. 14, 2016) – Last Swimming Class
I’m still recovering from my cold so I worked from home today. My wife took Katie to school this morning.
Arnesa took Bobby to the park today. I guess he blew a kiss to a little boy he met while they were leaving. He’s big into gestures and sounds these days.
When I came out of the bedroom this morning Bobby wanted to rush in and watch the television. I asked him “Do you want to build a tall tower with daddy” and he promptly turned around and went to the red cardboard blocks. I think he understands more than we think he does.
Today is Katie’s last day in swimming class for this year. She will be taking piano lessons from Miss Laura, Katie’s former preschool teacher.
Bobby has a nasty habit of pushing the straw of his juice packs inside the pack. The end result is that he is unable to drink from it after that. I fashioned a straw that will not give him this problem (see photo to the right).
Bobby came and got my shoes for me this evening…the new ones with the Velcro. I put them on and then let him put the Velcro in place. Little did I know he had a motive…he wanted to go for a drive. We went for a quick spin around the driveway.
