Day #2948 (Wed., Jan. 31, 2018) – Zach On The Road

Helen has the flu so it was just Katie and me driving to Glenwood this morning. We saw Zach, Lucie’s dog, on the road all by himself.

I asked Katie about the “Invisibility Tricks” that Murren showed her yesterday and she said that they weren’t really tricks, it was more of a way to write letters with different symbols so that nobody could see what you were writing (as far as I can figure).

2018-01-31 - Hot Wheels TrackI stopped off at both Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s for supplies after work. I stopped off at Whole Foods first and since they had the 1/2 gallon goat’s milk back in stock I got 6 of them. I then went to Trader Joe’s. TJ’s didn’t have any bananas so back to Whole Foods I went. The bananas were not the best, but at least they did have some. I have noticed that when I go to Trader Joe’s as of late they are always out of something. They are going to have to fix this problem sometime soon with Wegman’s opening up just down the street.

When I got home my wife was really sick. I took over tending to the kids while she had a nap. They were wild so I brought out a “Special Present”, a “Hot Wheels Type Loop Track And Cars” (see photo to the right) that I got at Five Below. They played with that for a while till it was time to put Katie to bed.

It’s always a challenge to do piano or put Katie to bed with Bobby around, but I did my best. Katie wanted a story so we took turns developing this story of a spider who loved cotton candy with a fly in the middle. Katie then wanted a story with three things in it: a princess, a waterfall, and a unicorn.
